COME IN,  SIT DOWN,  TELL US ABOUT... This blog is a meeting place for authors and others in the arts .... each week as others are directed to our door or just stumble on by, they come and leave us information about themselves so they can tell about their new books or drawing or photos or to tell us about their new blogs. ****PLEASE be sure your comments are appearing on the latest most timely blog insuring your inclusion in the sending off to google plus land at the end of the week.*****

This is a meeting place where new and old alike can hook up for their next read or just to rediscover an old love.

G.D. Steel stopped by a mere three weeks ago, which in this whirligig of a world is eons ago, so I am so happy to share with you that she has been inspired to open her doors too so advertising of friends and colleagues reaches even further into the internet universe.  Here is the link:  http://indieauthornetwork.weebly.com/index.html

G.D. Steel's blog is also free promoting of your arts and as I am wont to say {as does Facebook} this site is free to comment and share and always will be free.

News we are excited to share is posted to the right of this opening to this weeks meeting of our fellow authors. BookBlog approved our blog as being a viable one to be added into their circle.  This is great news because it opens up more avenues where you will be noticed, you will pick up new friends and readers.  I ask only that you come and be yourself, talk about you, your books, your WIPS.  Feel free to ask your friends to drop by too - our portal is always open.

NOW...YOU WERE SAYING ~

  1. I just dropped into the Serious Writers Group on BookRix. Marc Emile Samuel aka m.e.s., our administrator, and the author of DEAD SEA ANGELS an epic story told in just a bit over 200 pages is for sale at AMAZON and well worth the read.

Another friend and colleague, CJ Heck, the author of ~ well, let's just see what they're talking about:

Subject: Good News to Share ...

Hi Marc, please share my joy!
I was just notified that my new book, "Barking Spiders 2" has been nominated for the Cybils Children's Book Award in the Poetry category! I'm still reeling. Winner will be announced in January, but even if I don't win, I'm happy and so doggone humbled to even have it be nominated!

    A happy hug,
    CJ

  2. Kim LaRocca stopped by and like Val last week missed the send off. Here is what she said:

Hi Paula, I just wanted to stop by your blog. I have been writing for quite some time and published my first collection of poetry in April of this year. It is entitled, A Black Girls Poetry for the World and can be found at Amazon.com. I can't want to read some of your work. Kim

  3. Gwen and I seemed destined to miss one another on our respective blogs but she did drop a note on the table - here it is:

    Hi, Paula

I am Back! I finally found how to get back in the door, I think I was trying to come "in" through the "back"..haha,

Jersey Daze is now in the final stages to be released! Just in time for the Holiday Season. 10 days -3 weeks on the count-down!

JERSEY DAZE is a romance with 'meat,' one which I had the privilege of reading in an ARC. This book is one that will be archived in my Kindle because it has soul as much as heart. Can wait for the release.

  4. Hey Paula just catching up. I’m really excited about the Christmas anthology book for children. Just hope the copyright thingy is sorted fast.

In the meantime, I’m eagerly watching the BookRix Teaser Room contest on my Titus book, there are some great entries.

  5. I understand, Carole, that this year Cedric is taking over the lead Reindeer spot and his nose is Blue! Yes, I am excited too with the anthology of Christmas Stories for Children which will be found on Amazon and other on line e book stories.

  6. Yes, he is Paula and I’m very excited about it. It’s about time Santa caught up with the modern world.

Having a reindeer policeman instead of that other chap is much better for Santa and all the children’s gifts will be very safe in his hands.
