Come In, Sit Down, Tell Us About....

This blog is a meeting place for authors and others in the arts .... each week as others are directed to our door or just stumble on by, they come and leave us information about themselves so they can tell about their new books or drawings or photos or to tell us about their new blogs. ****PLEASE be sure your comments are appearing on the latest most timely blog insuring your inclusion in the sending off to Google plus land at the end of the week.*****

Here is the link to Gwen’s site: http://www.indieauthornetwork.weebly.com/index.html  G.D. Steel's blog is free promoting of your arts. As I am wont to say {as does Facebook} our site is free to comment and share and always will be free.

News, some old news, some new news - the book I was fortunate enough to be a contributing author in order to raise money for children's charities was featured for a fifteen minute {I guess that really is the limit allotted} slot on dictionary.com by AMAZON!  Yes, we were a FEATURED book - here are the links for both kindle and print - remember all proceeds go to  children's charity - we keep nothing of the royalties!  This book and all future collections written for charity will be under the banner of The Peacock Writers.

While I've been out of commission for about a month with illness and then an unexpected ride in an ambulance to our local hospital, life goes on.

I have been struggling with the story line for a Rainbow Bridge story to go into our next collection for children's charities. I was fortunate, and I do count it as such, to be in a holding pattern when I was taken for an MRI during my hospital stay.

During the three hour wait, the doctors, too, were at work, reading my chart, assessing the problem and trying to eliminate the cause of my inability to walk.  By the time I was wheeled in for my local Blue Man Group like concert, I had formulated the story that may be called Granny Dumping - the story of Mason, and how he became a member until his time to go Home across the Rainbow Bridge.  Stay tuned for a publication date on the upcoming collection.

The More, The Merrier finally made it out of Europe and onto Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/The-More-Merrier-ebook/dp/B007CIF5WG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331225909&sr=8-1

I am still waiting for several of my adult short story collections to make it across the Pond and they would be listed under my name Paula Louise Shene.  Sandcastles, a book that has award winning stories is listed as is the first edition of Holiday Echos.

Echos are Songs or Chants of Love as opposed to echoes, a reflected sound for those who think I spelled this wrong - the difference in words, I found out, only before compiling the collection.

The two books I am awaiting arrival is Problem or Solution? featuring Sacrificial Lambs and the second edition of Holiday Echos: Songs of Love featuring The Ice Maiden - the fictionalized story of my courtship, done in diary form.  The link to my adult stories is http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-text&field-keywords=paula+louise+shene&x=0&y=0

Now, to put Granny Dumping - Mason's Story to pdf, I must say goodbye for now but please do stay and tell our audience about.....
